Indigenous Professional Support Unit (IPSU)
Regional & Remote Aboriginal Children & Support Services Unit (RRACSSU)
The Indigenous Professional Support Unit’s Regional and Remote Aboriginal Children & Services Support Unit (RRACSSU) is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) to provide professional development and support to Indigenous early childhood services. This includes:
- providing high quality, flexible and innovative professional development and support that is targeted to meet the individual local needs of eligible Indigenous early childhood services and their staff; and
- facilitating access to, and/or provide professional support, advise and training for managing bodies of eligible Indigenous early childhood services.
PSCNT and RRACSSU work collaboratively to:
- assist AGACCS become culturally inclusive and supportive of indigenous children, their families and indigenous early childhood professionals; and
- provide Multifunctional Aboriginal Children’s Services professional development and support.
